'Giverosity' program allows users to donate gifts online
The website Giverosity.com is offering people an opportunity to donate gifts to underprivileged children during the holiday season.
According to a press release, Giverosity.com partners with stores to feature their products on the website, making it easy for people to donate items from work or home. Houston donations will benefit Goodwill employee families.
According to a press release, Giverosity.com began as a way to give back during the busy holiday season. The website allows users to browse a selection of toys and clothing and find gifts they are interested in donating.
“It’s easy – just click to give,” said Taylor Brown, one of the founding members and a pricing analyst at American Airlines. “Our hope is to provide a simple vehicle for busy people to share the spirit of the holiday season with those in our community who need it most.”
